Help Electric furnace want heat

I have a electric furnace, i would turn on the thermostat and it will come on, but no heat is being produced. If anyone can give me a hint of what could be wrong or weather it sounds like anything i can fix myself, i would greatly appricate it.
Please help!!
It's Cold!

Make sure the fuse/breaker for heat strip has not trip/blown.

No, don't fix it yourself. Electric furnaces are inherently dangerous to service and troubleshoot, even for professionals with experience.

Does the fan come on but there is no heat or does nothing run?
