Pilot problems

If the pilot flame is blue & envelopes the thermocouple the pilot burner should be fine. The problem could be the gas valve itself. If the pilot is weak, yellow, or white, remove & clean the pilot assembly.

Lennox is notorious for using special parts, only available to Lennox dealers. Do you have a voltmeter capable of reading dc millivolts? Are you sure the gas valve uses a 30 mV thermocouple? This is the normal voltage out of a thermocouple but some valves require a higher voltage.

Grady,
thanks for your replys, no unfortunatly I don't have a volt meter, and no I don't know what kind of thermal couple, so looks like I'll be calling a service tech.

Gas valve

If you can get me some numbers off of the gas valve (make & model minimum) maybe I can find out some particulars. A bad, new thermocouple is not unheard of.
