increase btu on oil f/a furnace

Hi,
I have an 85k btu f/a oil furnace from 1985 and would like to add a lrger nozzle to increase to 115k btu.
The spec plate on the unit lists the nozzle sizing required to go to 115k btu.
What other mods will be required?
ie,faster fan speed setting, higher stack temp switch, increase in pump pressure etc
thanks

increase btu output

in an 1850 house I have expanded the duct system to include an additional 800 sq ft and this past winter the 85k btu had a difficult time keeping up with the thermostat setting

Ok, yes, you can change the nozzel size on the oil burner.. Be best to let the Oil Pro do that for you.. That way they can make sure it fires right, and do the smoke/fire/draft test to make sure it's working at it's peek.

Upfiring

If the rating plate so allows, as Jay said, it can be done. When the pro does it, he/she should do a complete combustion analysis including: Smoke, Draft, CO2, CO, & Stack Temperature. The pump pressure & cut off, as well as the ignition transformer, electrode settings & flame failure safety timing need to be checked.
