What kind of piping can i use for outdoor?

Hi all,
I got one of those Natural gas/prop gas stove but the location that i want to put it at does not have enclosed access way like the basement for the gas pipe to go thru. What kind of pipe can i use to run natural gas that is exposed to the outdoor air but not outdoor rain and snow? the pipe will be running under the deck so it is protected from the rain and snow. Can i use the standard gas pipe? the kind that homedepot sells, with the black coating?
TIA
Jack

The first step when working with any type of gas, is to check local codes. Some areas allow soft copper outside the house for gas lines. I prefer this as there is only two joints to worry about leaking. (beginning and end) Inside the house is usually black iron pipe. Copper will not be harmed by the elements but should be protected from people stepping on or kicking it. The flexibility of it makes for easier running also. Good luck.
