Air-lock in gas line??

Air-lock in gas line??

turned off my gas at meter last spring ..now no gas to stove..can there be an air-lock in the gas line? and if so how do i bleed it?

If electric ignition just turn on and air will purge. If standing pilots hold match to burner and turn on, it also will purge and light. Are sure the gas co did not seal the meter?

gas man came ..line had to be purged by loosening coupling..
now pilot light won't stay lit..will look around at other threads for cure

Call the Gas Co back & ask them to make adjustments. Should not be a big deal (hopefully)
