Desconnecting heating ducts Qs

How would the furnace[ oil.forced air,90000BTU] be affected by disconnecting two heating ducts[ roughly 35% of total worm air] out of a total of six, would the remaning four get the 'extra' worm air ,would the furnace need to be re-adjusted ?
Thanks a lot

What size are these ductwork? 6"??? I hope not!

First of all, sounds like you don't have enough supply duct (if they are 6"), and may cause your system to over heat.

But let us know what size you got first..

Why do you want to discconect the duct?

Thanks for responce Four ducts look like 6'',two feed the main floor and the other two transition to ''staks''[ 3.5x14''?] running inside the plaster walls and feeding the top floor
This two ducts contain asbestos[they will be removed and replaceced]and i was wondering if i could disconect them and run the heat temporarely.
There are three other small ducts3'' heating the basement

Yes, you can remove them for the time being, let it just blow into the basement..

I would add more to your system.. 4-6", and 2-3" is NOT enough for a 90,000 BTU oil sytem... I am sure the system has cycled alot on high limit??
