Does this furnace look familiar?

I've looked all over this furnace to find the plate thats tells me the brand name and model number, can't find one anywhere. I have to get parts for this furnace but need the name and model number. Does this furnace look familiar to anyone, or does anyone have an idea where to look for the plate thats has all the info on it? I have run out of ideas.............

Furnace Brand

Judging only by color (grey w/ brown blower) I'm guessing it was made by Inter City Products. Without some kind of numbers, getting any specialty parts is going to be tough at best.

Boiler/Doorbell Transformer

Has anyone ever heard of, or dealt with, a hydronic, oil burning boiler using the same transformer as the doorbell? The other day, my doorbell died. I checked in the attic and around the electrical panel for it's transformer but I couldn't find it. The chime would only buzz when the button was pushed. Later, after disassembling and re-assembling the circuit, even the buzzing stopped. At about the same time, the boiler stopped working. :wall: The problem with the boiler was traced to [B]it's[/B] 24 volt transformer being dead. That transformer was replaced and the boiler fired immediately. The buzzing also came back when the bell was pushed. It seems that while messing with the doorbell circuit I killed the boiler transformer by mistake. Or is this whole thing a big coincidence? I had heard that doorbell transformers are usually 16V and boilers 24V but are they sometimes the same and one is used for both systems? :confused: Thanks for any help.Read More

Furnace has problem starting

Hi, I have a problem that started yesterday, I have a oil fired furnace and every time it sits for awile it takes to long to fire up. It does fire up most of the time, but only after about 10 sec of no flame then it kicks in. And it doesnt have any problem starting up if I shut it down and wait 10 - 15 mins and then turn it back on, and when its running it runs fine. I replaced the pump about 8 months ago and the new one always took a couple seconds to fire up, now its gotting worst and I think that I'm losing prime but I'm not sure.
