How to clean burner?
Okay, based on your advice, I will now attempt to clean the burner. (This is a continuation of the thread: "Need new thermocouple?" but is a new question.)
Here's a picture of what I have when removing the outer cover of the Hydro-Flame FA-7225 on my travel trailer.
What further things do I remove, if anything? Or what is the best procedure from here?
Hmmm, how do I attach a picture in this forum?
Edit: See the picture at this thread:

Mac, I could not access the picture without having to register. Photobucket is a photo hosting site which seems to work pretty well, as does Yahoo. If you would be so kind as to try again, maybe we can help.

I moved it to one of the public forums. I forgot that one was for registered members only. Thanks for taking the time to tell me. You should be able to view it now.

Update
I put the old thermocouple back in yesterday because I couldn't even get the other one to keep the pilot on anymore, even though it did work for the first several times of lighting the pilot.
Anyway, close comparison showed that it was about 1/8" shorter, so that was probably making the difference in time to engage and then not at all, I guess.
So the old one was working back as good as it had been before. This evening, the burner/pilot was blowing out much sooner than usual, no longer even waiting until the thermostat shut it off. I could relight the pilot as normal and it would go again for about 5 minutes. Now, it won't even keep the pilot lit (first time that has ever happened.)
So at this point am I still waiting to see if cleaning the burner will make a difference? Thanks for your time. I'll proceed with that when I get some advice on how best to access the burner for cleaning.

If it does not, you just might not be shoving it in far enough or the bracket might need adjusted.
I'll proceed with that when I get some advice on how best to access the burner for cleaning.
Is there a plate right above the burners that you can remove?
(At coordinates x=268 y=334 in the picture {(0, 0) = (left, top)}.)
Remove that plate (maybe 3 to 5 screws?).
Are the burners spring loaded? (Can you pull them straight back against the pipe?)
Is there a rail under them parallel to and not far from where the gas pipe runs between the three burners?

RV Heater
I keep coming back to the pilot as being the source of your problem. Can you remove the pilot assembly? If you can get it out, you might be able to clean the orifice with brake or carb cleaner & compressed air. If you are VERY careful, you might clean the orifice with a tip broach.
I just realized we have a forum for RV's under the auto heading. Don't know is someone there might be able to shed more light on your situation. It's worth a shot.
That Texan, Don, is a big help isn't he?
