Ac Compressor Running, Blower Not
#1

I just moved to a 1950s house that has central heat/AC.
The AC unit is in the backyard, and the furnace/blower is in the hallway as well as the squerish brown color thermostat(not digital)
Last night I set the thermostat to 70 degree & switch it to "cool". It worked as expected.
This morning, there is no air blowing, however the AC compressor was still running.
I belief, both AC compressor & the blower should stop when it has reached the set temperature.
Is there any incorrect set-up or something wrong with my unit?
Thanks,
