"hissing" sound in Goodman furnace

I have installed a Goodman 95% efficiency furnace upside down which I'm told is in the counter-flow position. After the combustion fan stops during a normal cycle, water backflows from the secondary heat exchanger into the primary heat exchanger and makes a "sizzling sound" and steam comes out of the burner ports. I have read the directions several times and can't find what I've done wrong.

Any ideas?

No on the ventor motor. That's a good suggestion - I'll give it a try. As far as I can tell, the condens trap isn't filling up, but I'm going to double check that as well.

Thanx!

Sizzling

Some furnaces have a trap which must be filled with water prior to firing.
