Unhappy Furnace lights, fan comes on then cuts off too soon

Mom has a model 7670c856 coleman gas furnace, the burner will light, heats, fan comes on, runs about 30 seconds to a minute then shuts off. The burner continues to burn even after fan shuts off, but will go off after a while. The fan unit will not heat the house because the fan will not run long enough. Is this possibly caused by a limit switch, if so which one (high or low)? Please help as she is beginning to get cold.

What happens if you turn the fan switch (at t-stat or furnace itself) to "ON"?

The fan will run continually. It was working fine when the a/c was on.

For now, just leave the fan "ON" for heat..

Sounds like the fan switch is not working like it should.
