Heater Problem - Pleasehelp

Hi all. I have a central heating/AC and something's woring with the heater. Usually, when I shut down the heater, the flame would turn off then 5 minutes later the fan would turn off. This time, after the flame turned off, the fan just keeps on going. I cannot turn the heater ON. I tried unplugging it but as soon as I would plug it back in, the fan would turn on again. the fan switch is on auto. Any suggestions before I call someone. Thanks all!

What do you mean you can't turn it on?

What make/model of furnace you have there?

Is the t-stat fan switch "ON"?

Fan stays on

It sounds like the furnace might be off on limit. Was the furnace still hot when you unplugged the heater? Is the fan in the top or bottom of the cabinet. A make & model might be helpful.
