Question gas wall heater

I have an older natural gas wall heater, the pilot light stays lit( after replacing the thermocoupler) but when the thermostat activates the control unit the pilot light goes out. The heater hasn't been used for the last two years,at that time it was ok. The pilot light is burning blue and the control solenoid is clicking. what's wrong?

If this hasn't been used for 2 years, it may need a good cleaning, and the pilot assembly may need to be taken apart and cleaned, also is the chimney is clear?

Wink

Also clean the burners and check the W/C (the regulator on it for the gas psi)
