Exclamation kerosene smell?

why do i smell kerosene from my oil furnace? i know it's in there to mix the oil, and keep it from freezing. carrying over from my other post, the burner makes sort of a kick. and the flame is steady, but looks like someone is blowing on it or something. someone here suggested the nozzle would need to be replaced. anything else it could be? would replacing the nozzle take care of the odor?

or perhaps the smell is just oil. can't tell really. but there is definitely a small leak from the burner. only a couple drops here and there, but nevertheless. still nozzle?

Nozzle?

The nozzle is a possibility but so are a lot of other things. When was the last time the furnace was professionally serviced? The heat exchanger could be nearly plugged or cracked.
