Oil Furnace problem
The furnace: late 70s lowboy Beck furnace.
The problem: It won't restart. Came home to a cold house, turn up tstat, no heat. check furnace needs to be reset. Press reset button fires up fine and the blower kicks on. reaches temp and shuts off fine. When time for more heat, it won't start automatically, needs to be reset.
Recently replaced the transformer and cleaned the photo eye. Also lubricated the blower assembly and it spins freely.
Suggestions????

Have to Reset
There can be several causes for this. Some of the more common are: A burner motor going bad. Electrodes or air adjustment set incorrectly. Partially clogged nozzle. Primary control going bad.
When you reset it & look at the flame, does it seem like a larger or more yellow than normal flame?
