Locating a Cottage FHA furnace

OK...looking at remodeling a 600sq ft ranch style cottage built on piers with an addition to bring it up to about 1000sqft. It had one of those wall Renni LP heaters. The old cottage will keep the open ceiling concept (no ceiling but beams ), the new addition to it will be bedrooms with ceilings. Since I need a way to effectively heat the entire house and conserve space, can I locate a LP gas hot air furnace up in the attic above the bedrooms and duct the air around the house that way? Again I have only dirt/opem crawl space under the house. Location is in Vermont.

Wink

Yes for sure you can put a gas horizontal furnace up in the attic there. Then run the flex ducts off it to the registers in the ceiling. Id run them to the blow down close to the outside walls. With one cold air return in the center of the home.
