Angry Heil HE furnace leaks water

I have a Heil hegh effiency furnace model Nugk125ak01. There is a pipe on the side for the condinsate water which is leaking from the top threads. I removed the pipe, the float feels like that one side is heavy than the other. I cleaned out the pipe placed the float back in and used some teflon thread tape and re installed the pipe, this morning the pipe is still leaking frok around the thread. Any help would be greatful.

Can you shake the float and see if there is liquid inside?
