Which ignitor do I need...and what does a time delay control do?

Which ignitor do I need...and what does a time delay control do?
First, the furnace is a Rheem Imperial 80 plus. The intermittent control module is a Honeywell S8610U 1003. The Honeywell module replaced a Robertshaw SP715U. The ignitor is the ceramic type that's shaped like a cylinder. It has only one thick orange wire running to it from the 'spark' terminal on the Honeywell ignition control module. On a side note, there is also what I take to be a flame sensor sitting next to the ignitor but it isn't connected to anything. There is a terminal on the end of it but nothing is connected to it.
My problem is that the ignitor is no longer lighting the pilot. In order to get the furnace going, I have to light the pilot manually (w/ a long lighter) whenever the thermostat calls for heat. Now, I did remove the entire bracket that holds the ignitor and flame sensor to get a look at it and the ceramic on the ignitor seems to be damaged. There is a black (burn?) spot on it and when I tested it (with the gas off and holding the assembly with an insulated pair of pliers) a spark came directly out of the black spot on the ceramic -which I assume indicates a ground leak. So what ignitor do I use to replace it? Do I have a combination ignitor flame sensor? As I said, there is a flame sensor mounted next to the ignitor but it isn't connected to anything....can I remove that altogether? Also, my ignitor only has a single wire on it and all the ones I see online have two.
About the time delay control. Right above the blower there is a bracket with four wires ran into it -two of the wires run to the limit control. Inside the bracket, the wires are attached to 4 terminals on a black plastic piece that I assumed to be a relay of some sort. Upon looking at the schematics though I see that it is labeled as TDC (time delay control). The tdc is completely melted and two of the wires aren't even attached to it anymore (I taped those up). It looks like it has been like that for some time now but it hasn't prevented the furnace or ac from working. What does it exactly do? Also, how do I find a compatible replacement? Like I said, it is pretty much completely melted and I can't see any sort of part number on it.
If anyone can help with any of the above, I'd greatly appreciate it. Also, I do have pictures of everything (ignitor, bracket, melted tdc, etc.) and, if it'll help, I'd be more then happy to email 'em to anyone who wants 'em.

You can post the pics on photobucket.com & provide a link here.
The time delay is usually for the fan. If you can't get any numbers off of it, you will probably have to go to a Rheem dealer with the complete model number of your furnace or do a search online for Rheem furnace parts.
You are correct about the spark going to ground. A Honeywell 392431 ignitor/sensor may work for you & is compatable with the S8610U control.

Thanks for the help. I'll call around tomorrow and see if a Rheem dealer has that time delay for the fan. As for the ignitor, do you think the one at the link below will work? The reason I ask is because there's a seller on eBay that has a bunch for $10 a piece. Also, here's some pics. of the ignitor and the time delay -hopefully they show up. In the second pic. you can see the black spot on the ceramic. Thanks again. Oh, and can I go ahead and remove the seperate flame sensor alogether when I put in the new ignitor?

Bad news. It looks like the ignitor is riveted to the pilot burner assembly. You likely will have to get a whole pilot burner assembly.
That fan timer, if that is indeed what it is, is toast. Wonder what caused it? Often a loose push-on connection will cause something like that. I suggest new wire ends when you replace the part.

Yeah, the ignitor is indeed riveted on there. What about the one in the link I provided? It has the pilot burner with it so will that work? The only difference I see is that there's no flame sensor but I take it that it's not needed?? I'm also sure that it isn't going to mount right up but I'm pretty handy so making a custom bracket for it isn't a problem.
As for the time delay, I think it's been like that for a few years now. I don't know what caused it but I definitely want to replace it.

I think it would work. You will need to take the orifice out of the old one & install it in the new. Most come without an orifice. You will also need the ignition cable; Honeywell #394800-30.
I'm pretty sure the S8610 can be used with or without an independent flame sensor.
