York Furnace

I have a York Furnace 80 The furnace glow stick comes on the gas lites up and after 5 seconds the ignition goes out. It does it three times then lockes out due to non ignition. I though it was a presure switch.

I doubt is the pressure switch.
Prior to the ignitor's glowing-up, the inducer blower must have already been running and with the blower running if the pressure switch contacts do not engage, the glow-coil will not get its juice.

The board in your unit appears to be getting feedback from the flame-rod that no flame is present. Absence of flame causes the board to shut OFF the gas to the burners within 3-to-5 seconds after the gas valve started feeding them.

A common problem with flame rods is that they get sooty. Remove, clean-up gently with steel wool or a clean rag (I have even heard that rubbing it with a business card does a good job too) and re-install

Your Furnace 80 ???? this is far from being a complete M/N. Check the nameplate for it.

furnace recall

Did you know about this notice?
http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml01/01523.html
your furnace is listed there.

Having said that, did you check the flame-rod?
