Janitrol

I have a janitrol gas furnace that is 17 years old. Problem being; the furnace runs good but it will kick off and after u flip the main switch off for a few seconds then flip it back on the furnace once again runs good sometimes for 2-3 days but also sometimes we have to do that several times a day. We have replaced the panel box 2 times. Several repairmen have come to look at it but none can figure the problem out. The model is 4-30A and is supplied by Goodman manufacturer of Tx, parts number of the furnace is a 15344-03. If anyone has any ideas, thanks for the info

Can you tell us what these repairmen (were they real HVAC repairmen and HOW many exactly, looked at it?) looked at and tried to service?, such as: inspect filter, check to make sure 24 volt circuit complete through thermostat and back to the furnace terminal, check registers, clean flame sensor, inspect ignition system (say if this is a pilot system) and take it out and clean, check venting, making sure condensate lines are not plugged, etc?

I am presuming you have flame for a bit and then once in a while the flame goes out prematurely, and then you are able to get it to go again by reseting the furnace by turning off the breaker, then back on again.

When you have caught it NOT working, how long after the burner flame starts, does it shut off? And is it only the burner flame that shuts off?, or does the draft inducer motor shut off also?

Also, if there is a pilot, does that go out also? IF there is a pilot, is it always on, or is it the kind that comes on from a sparking system?, or do you have the type of ignition that has a glow coil inside that gets real bright first?
