Bryant 340M heating issue - not working
Hello, had an incredible amount of snow and wind last night, and woke up with no heat this morning.
Checked the furnace and got an error code 31 - pressure switch will not close or re-open. Went outside and cleared away about 2 feet of snow which was covering the intake and exhaust pipes. Cut the power to the furnace and re-started, and was getting air flow in and out of the pipes once the snow was removed. However, I am still getting no ignition and no heat...in fact the light in the burner box isnt even coming on. I have replaced the furnace filter with a brand new one as well.
I disconnected the inducer motor wiring from the harness and repeated the cut-power/resume power. Still no ignition light or heat. (the manual says this should mean the pressure switch is operating properly).
I have a honeywell thermostat (programmable). It is going to be hard to get a pro out here anytime soon due to all this snow...can anyone suggest anything else I might try?
thanks
oh..one last thing...went I first start power up the motor turns on for around a minute or so, shuts down and then another motor (i assume the inducer motor) turns on, at which point i would expect the ignitor light to turn on, and the heat to start. It sounds like the motor is starting, but Im getting no light, and thus no gas/heat.

Hello,
Fixed the problem (for now anyway)
Went through and squeezed all the tubes coming from the fan to the pressure switch, and from the pressure switch to the burner box. Not sure if I unclogged some sort of blockage or what happened, but everything fired up properly immediately after doing this.
thanks.
