Janitrol Overhead Heater Mounting Instructions

I just purchased an older Janitrol Overhead Heater, model number 68-070-8, Serial number 4667-4. Input is 70,000 BTU, Output=56,000 BTU. It has the standing pilot. I would like to find out approximately how old it is, and some recommended mounting instructions. Thanks

Overhead Heater?

I presume you mean the type of heater often seen in shops or other large open areas which have no ducts & a propeller style fan. This heater must be quite old because Goodman, who bought the Janitrol name many years ago, never made this style heater as far as I know.

Yes,it is that type of a heater. I was hoping the model number or serial number might give some clue.

Age

This is just a wild guess but possible manufacture date is the 46th week of 1967.
