update beckett burner

I've got an burnham v74 furnace with a beckett AFG burner. I would like to update to a "cleancut pump" to replace the suntec pump. Is this possible using the existing honeywell R4184D1027 oil pump control? I've read that the cleancut is only compatable with the newer electronic controls. I also will add the intellicon to my system. Could this be used to help interface this pump? Or do I need a whole new burner?

AFG upgrade

The CleanCut pump can be used with your old primary IF the pump has a delayed opening solenoid. I do however encourage you to replace this old control with an R7184B, P, or U. With any of these controls you would not have to be concerned if the pump has a delay or not since the control has a built in delay. They also drop out the ignition transformer upon proof of flame thereby saving electricity & prolonging the life of the electrodes.
