boiler won't fire up...

Angry boiler won't fire up...


can anyone help me. i have a crown boiler. the pilot stays lit, but it wont fire up, no matter how high the thermostat is. the pressure is good but of course the temp is low. i hear athe click when the thermostat is turned on..but iy don't fire up. it used to.

My understanding is that there needs to be a negative draw going up your exhaust pipe before the burners will kick on. There is a pressure switch that detects that draft that can go bad. The negative draw is created by an exhaust fan turning on to pull away the combustion gas.
