Question Carrier 9200 Weathermaker Furnace/AC

I have a carrier 9200 gas furnace that works with the carrier ac heat pump/ac unit outside. when i purchased it i was told the gas furnace comes on when it is 40 degrees or below outside. With the price of propane at 4 bucks a gal i would like to know if and how i can chance the setting for the furnace to come on? thanks

Yes, you should be able to drop the temp down lower.

Where are you out of?

What t-stat is being used, and model # of it, or is something else is being used to switch system?

Thanks for your response Jay11J.
I am using the programmable thermostat by carrier. when it registers 40 or below on the sensor that displays outside temp on the TS it automatically switches to aux heat which is the furnace. the TS manual says as a note that for additional energy savings ask your dealer about locking out aux heat at a selected outdoor temp. Exactly what i want to do-right?

i have found the model # to be TSTATCCPDF01-B.
on the inside it also says
c-no low temp lockout
i assume this TS does not have the option of changing temp from 40 default. right?

I am having a hard time finding the install/set up manual.. I am going to keep on looking for it.

I found the owner's manual, but it don't say anything about this.
