Furnace variable speed blower

I have a Bryant variable speed furnace installed in 2006. The fan runs all time (as it should, circulating the air), but it runs at a high speed all the time, except when it is heating, then it drops to a lower speed. I think that it should run all the time at the lower speed, and when the heat turns on, then the blower speed should increase to circulate the heated air more efficiently. I don't know how to change the speeds. It is annoying to have the fan run at the high speed all the time. The thermostat is turned to "on", if it is turned to auto, the fan only runs when it is heating up and that doesn't keep an even temperature throughout the house.

Any suggestions on how to change the speeds on the blower would be appreciated.

Wink

Might look in the unit or the blower door for a wire schematic. This should show you how to set the blower speed.
