Angry York Stellar Gas Furnace P3UCD.., Ignitors problem

The furnace did not work today. The ignitor looks like been burned out. I do not know how to measure it. A paper lable was attached on the wire. It reads FBL FC055 0140.
I found one on a website but not the same. The code is HS151406A. The model of my furnace is not on the list.
Please tell me how to test it by the multi-meter? Where can i find it?

Mechanical supply houses that carry HVAC-plumbing-electrical stuff, etc., should have an array of these. Take yours in to compare. They also sell universal ones where you have to choose the right mounting bracket from their package. It is important to get the distance and height, in relation to the burner, correct. But it will wind up correct, if you either buy same one, or buy universal one and use correct bracket and carefully compare before you screw it back in place.

You can ohms test these. But there can be quite a wide gray area. Somewheres about 100 ohms or less should be good.

Thanks but i can not find a place to buy it in the local shop. I ordered one on ebay and get it yesterday. It works.

I have another question to ask.
There is a Power vent kit model SWG-4G on the outside of the wall. The fan only stop for 2 second and run again and again. I changed a control part ( Delay Control) last year but the same.
Thanks

Hot Surface Igniters

There is a website that can supply just about any igniter you could require url is: The Igniter Source - Hot Surface Igniters for Furnaces, Water Heaters and Gas Dryers

Some of the things aren't listed - but they can usually get them.

Hope that helps
