Carrier 8000TS Weather Maker - Slow Blower

I have 2 units in the home. Gas furnace Carriers 8000TS. No LED error exists. The fan appears to not be blow at full speed on one unit and air does not blow from the vents downstairs. For the upstairs unit, the air comes out just fine and the fan kicks on at full speed. Is this normal? When the cold A/C is turned on it blows out just fine. Please help.

With furnace off, see if the blower wheel spins as freely as the other furnace blower wheel, to rule out real gummy bearings.

You may want to have a run capacitor, for that motor, tested. Or swap it out with the other furnace blower motor run cap. And you may want to ohms test that winding and compare with a reading from the other identical unit.

Obviously make sure furnace filter is not clogged or cold air returns blocked off.

Thanks ecman51. I'm headed back over to the house tomorrow and will test what you listed to check out. I will let you know the results. I know the filters have just been replaced wbut will check those as well.
