thermocoupler retro fit

I have an old Bryant gas fiurnace series PCB model# 100 393U. The furnace runs great, but it does not have a gas cut off in case the pilot goes out. Is there a fix for this?

Actually it does have a safety. The pilot is a flame switch. When the pilot goes out the bi-metal in the pilot cools and opens the electrical circuit. The burner gas will not come on, however the pilot gas continues to flow.
If this is the system you have. Now if you want 100% safety it can be done, but costly.
