Rheem gas furnace keeps blowing 3A fuse after lightning storm

I have a Rheem gas furnace and have been tolo that the circuit board has been fried:
RHEEM 62-24140-02

IGNITION CONTROL BOARD. 8 second ignition time. Gas Type: Natural or LP. 100% Lockout. Direct Spark. Spark plug type of ignitor sensor. 30 second prepurge. 120/24 Volts. 1 Amp. furnace models
GLH-06EAUEA, GLH-07EAMGA, GLH-07EAUEA, GLH-10EAMEA, GRA-07EYBG278 and GTA-07EYBG278.

There are no apparent burns on the board, the tech isolated all other components and the fuse still burned when the power was turned on.

Anything that is being missed? the board is expensive $250-300 (there is an ebay offer for 62-24140-04 for $149 from Patriot Supply ????)

thanks

IT doesn't sound like anything is being missed. This is typical of what happens during electrical storms. as far has your boardquestion . I would search the net farther and see what is out there. You want to get one that has a warranty on it and is not used.
