Check the pressure switch tube comming out of the draft induction motor, and the spill switch at the top of the induction motor.

A better discription would help if these items are not the problem.

When does inducer shut down in relation to when inducer starts?

Check to see if voltage through stat, at furnace quits.

I would not think the inducer would shut off due to lack of system pressure. Some MAY after lockout. That is why I am curious as to exactly when it shuts down.

Otherwise if it is not from the low voltage signal making it's way out of the furnace, up to the stat, and back to the furnace, to energize, then you may have a weak heat relay or sequencer that opens back up again.

Or you have a motor that is somehow bad, that maybe causes it to get hot internally and trip out on overload, temporarily. If you shut the furnace off right away, after the inducer prematurely quits, wait 30 seconds, then turn the furnace back on - does the inducer come back on then (with a call for heat)?

The inducer motor would only come on for 1 to 5 seconds, then shut down, after that there is no responce from the furnace. Since I posted my question, it has not came on at all. I have turned off the power several times waiting 15 to 20 minutes before turning the power back on, thinking that it may be in lockdown. No luck yet.
