Blower for gas furnace not shutting off

The blower on my gas furnace is staying on constantly. Does anyone know what the likely cause for this would be? I've narrowed it down to the Lower Limit Switch and the Fan Control Limit Switch. I would guess the Fan switch would be the problem, but when I tap the Lower Limit Switch, the blower shuts off like it's supposed to. Am I on the right track or do I need to look at something else? The thermostat is almost new and all wires are tight and in good shape.

Oh yeah, the thermostat is set to off and the blower still keeps going.

Thanks,
Larry

Fan stays on

If you can tap the control & have the fan shut off, it sounds like the control is sticking. If it is adjustable, turn it up 5-10 degrees.
