Janitrol gas furnace

I have a Jantrol gas furnace. Sometimes, it will come on, try to light, try to light, try to light, then without lighting the blower comes on. maybe the next time the, it will light but the blower wont come on. it is like it gets out of sequence.
I had the main circuit board replaced last year and that helped for a while but its back to doing it again. Could it be anything else?

What type of lighting system is employed?: HSI (hot surface ignitor coil that glows real bright)?, or an intermittant sparker that sets off a pilot light?, or a direct spark to the burners?

Please post the model of the furnace which can be obtained from the rating plate in the burner compartment of the furnace.

Also, you need to carefully observe the sequence of events that happens as the furnace attempts to operate. You may need to turn the thermostat up and down several times to be able to post a careful description of what you see and hear.
