Lennox G20 series does not fire up

I have a Lennox G20 series that does not fire up. The damper door opens when I turn on the heater. I have a "intermittent pilot ignition control" on which the LED comes on for a few seconds and then turns off.
It seems like the unit tries to start the ignition but fails immediately.
Should I replace the ignition control unit? I am concerned that there may be something that could have caused the ignition control to blow.
Does it have anything to do with the condensate pump?
Any insights? Thanks for your help.

The instruction manual for your furnace is here:

If you have a condensing furnace with a condensate pump, you don't have a G-20 which is a mid efficiency furnace that is vented with metal vent pipe.

It does have the intermittent pilot your describe and a damper door that opens in front.

Please clarify----
