Loose ignition wire

Can someone talk me through how to safely tack down my ignition wire? I fought with this for the last two years and have just been using duct tape. Would like a more permanent fix so I'm not in the basement duct taping at 2:00 am in the freezing cold again!

You can use a plastic adhesive backed wire tie or one of those screw in wire ties. It should provide you with a bit more security than duct tape. Is this for hot surface ignition or a spark? If you have a spark ignitor it may just be easier to change the wire it's self(provided it isn't soldered to the electrode) and start with a fresh wire.

I'm half wondering what exactly this all looks like on your end, a picture would be great.
