The only manual I was able to find for this furnace is here:

http://www.lennox.com/pdfs/manuals/L...)%20Manual.pdf

No circuit diagram, unfortunately.

I believe this furnace has an intermittent pilot ignition system, where the pilot burner remains off when the furnace isn't in use.

When the thermostat calls for heat, you should hear the inducer motor start and come up to speed. Then the pilot burner gas and spark should turn on, the pilot burner should light. The spark should turn off and the main burner gas should turn on.

From your description it sounds like the pilot burner lights, but goes out right away and the spark turns back on to light the pilot burner again, with this pattern repeating. Is that right?

Does the main burner gas turn on at all?

Does the pilot burner gas shut off or fade away when the main burner tries to turn on?

How long does the main burner stay on before it goes out? Does it stay on the same length of time each time, or does it operate erratically?

What color is the pilot burner? Does it have yellow tips or yellow is the flame? Does it behave like a small blowtorch with a sharp flame or a lazy flame more like a candle?

Sounds like this may be the mod with a Johnson gas valve. If yes, clean the flame rod. This is quite common for that valve.
