Blower Runs All The Time
#1

I have a old house with a old (but working) furnace. Problem is the blower runs all the time. Even with the system switch on the thermostat turned to "off" the blower still runs. The only way that I can shut it off is to flip the switch that is mounted on the furnace.
Is this a problem with the thermostat (Honeywell digital, 6 years old) or something else?
Thanks for any input!

What is the make and model of the furnace -- you can obtain this from the rating plate for the furnace in the burner compartment.
Does the furnace produce heat normally except for the fan running all the time?

I don't know the make of the furnace. This is in a rental that I own and it is about 30 miles from where I live.
The furnace does produce heat and from what I can tell the burner kicks on and off just like it's supposed to. It's just that the blower runs all the time.
I'll make a trip over to the house within the next few days and I'll get the info on the furnace.
Thanks!
