Gas Valve Honk when closing??

I have a Carrier 58SX Weathermaker circa 1987. When the furnace starts it's cycle off, it makes a strange honking sound that's fairly loud right when the burner turns off. I cannot figure out what exactly is making the noise and how to quiet it.

I am guessing the valve is noisy because isn't the valve closing when it starts the cycle off process. It's not the inducer motor or blower motor. They both are running and continue to run when it makes this sound.

Any ideas?? Would the pressure switch make this sound?

Very likely it's the regulator in the gas valve that reduces gas pressure to that used by the burners.

I've seen that happen occasionally. I've never seen it cause any problems.

reg vent may be partially restricted
Is this a valve with 5 wires? If yes, look for the reg adjust screw cap, remove the cap and look for a very small hole in the side of the cap. That is the vent, and it may be plugged with debris. Clean and reinstall. DO NOT move the screw beneath the cap.
