gas floor furnace
have a gas floor furnace that the pilot will light but when the thermostat is turned up to light the burners the pilot goes out. there was a water leak under the house and the ground is wet around the furnace. it has a generator not a thermo cuppling. where should i start looking for the problem?

The usual problem is that the pilot burner needs to be disassembled and the pilot orifice and pilot burner cleaned.
You need to use a 7/16 inch wrench to loosen the pilot tubing compression fitting at the bottom of the pilot burner to get access to the pilot orifice.
