Carrier furnace main burners not working

Hey everyone,

I Have a an older carrier 80% natural gas direct vent furnace. Im having a problem with delayed main burners. the pilot is working and has a strong flame, but it takes a long time for the gas valve to recieve 24v at the 1 and 2 terminals to energize the valve. The voltage at the gas valve keeps dropping out several times before the main burners will stay on, and energize the blower. Could this be a bad board? Any help would be greatly appreciated thank yoiu.

The usual cause of the problem is that the pilot burner needs to be taken apart and the pilot orifice cleaned.

Use a 7/16" wrench to loosen and remove the brass ferrule at the pilot tubing, which provides access to the pilot orifice.
