york gas furnace on the fritz.

i have a york furnace whose inducer motor went bad. it caused a error code#9(grounding/ line polarity fault). replaced the inducer motor. but i still have error code #9 that wont reset and furnace wont even run now. i have checked polarity on 120 volts and 24 volts everything checks out fine. just the error code seems to have locked the system. any ideas?

Why did you replace the inducer motor?

The error code your describe would not be a reason for replacing the inducer motor.

Sounds like a failed ignition control board which might cause erratic operation of the inducer motor and diagnostic codes that don't make sense.
