Question Inducer Fan Runs, No Ignite

1987 Comfortmaker - gas model # -GUA060A012-IN (I can get more details if needed)

If i turn off the furnace, then turn it back on, it will work once -Inducer fan run, burners ingite, blow warm air.

Next time the stat sends the heat signal, the inducer fan will run, and that's it. It may run for an hour. No ignite, no blower.

I checked the tube to the pressure gauge, it's clean as well as the connect on th inducer and I believe the pressure gauge.

The exhaust is out the roof. The exhaust is not covered with snow

any help would be appreciated. It's cold and sucks getting up every couple hours in the night to restart the furnace!

Things to check are if ignition system works right(what kind do you have?), if flame sensor works right, and it pressure switch sytem works right. We can advise more in specifics if need be. Tell us if you have a volt-ohm meter.

I believe it's electric ignition.

I have a cheap mulitmeter but I am not the best with electric work.

I'm a fairly handy person, but new to furnaces.

I think it is petering out prior to the ignition, somewhere between the inducer fan coming on and the ignition.
