Thumbs up Solution found for better fitting furncae filter

My furnace had this horribly fitting filter holder, basically folded the filter in half. Allowed air to pass through at the top and bottom, 9 times out of 10 it would not even stay in place, made the filter pretty much worthless.

I added a new holder at the top and bottom. Constructed of lightweight chain, anchored at the far end of the "chamber", added a spring at the near end to keep it tight.

All told cost about $11.00, thought I would share as an idea for those you with the same problem.

Looks good! Your hvac company should have put in a filter rack!
