My filters were dirty and I think it caused a limiting switch to kick off the gas. Is there a reset button to get the gas to ignite? I can't seem to see anything. I have to admit it happened once before and had a furnace guy fix it but I didn't pay enough attention to what he did. I do remember a comment he made about a reset button or something.

Look for anyplace(in the large furnace compartment, where burner is), where two wires are attached to opposite ends of a coin sized device. Often in the middle is a reset pin you can depress. If it clicks, when you depress it, that is your problem spot. If it clicks, you may have to first turn the furnace off, then back on, to reset it.
