Unhappy Smoke comes from oil furnace after shutdown

Hi, I have a oil furnace in a mobile home, it has the Beckett burner, and when the burn cycle ends smoke comes from the combustion chamber. Does anyone know why?

Yes. but I don't reply to first time posters so ask what it might be and you will get a better answer.

After drip

The smoke is caused by fuel dripping from the nozzle after shut down. Now comes the tough part (the cause of the after drip): Air in the fuel system; Incorrect 'Z' dimension; cracked heat exchanger; furnace needs cleaning; bad fuel pump, & the list goes on...

Call a heating professional thats familiar with Coleman or Miller Mobile home furnaces.

These are not toys the consumer can work on....your life may depend upon it.
