Question

I have a Rheem Heat Pump. It is a split-unit with the air handler under the floor. My air handler will not stop running. I can turn my heat completely off and the air continues to blow. I have even turned off the main breaker for an entire day, and when I turn it back on, the air still blows. What could be causing this?

Cool

I hate to ask this, but has someone, unbeknownst to you, flipped your fan control from "auto" to "on" on your thermostat(s)? (Happens in this house. lol)

If you don't have your fan switch in the on position instead of auto, there may be fused contacts fan relay, bad t'stat, bad control wiring.

The fan switch has set to "auto".
