One Zone not working

I have a 2 zone system, and one zone is not working. When I set the thermostat to heat, clock motor turns, and the tab appears to depress the micro switch completely, but furnace does not come on. If I depress the micro switch manually, furnace comes on immediately. Thoughts?

Zone Problem

Sounds like you have Honeywell zone valves. If so, about your only option is to replace the powerhead. I used to have a source of micro switches for the Honeywell zone valves but no more.

I did change the power head - still did not work. Starting working after forcefully jiggling microswitch - I think I need to replace the microswitch?

Powerhead

There is a micro switch in the powerhead. Did you just change the motor?
BTW: It is often cheaper to buy a whole zone valve than just the powerhead. Simply take the head off the new valve & mount it on the old valve body.
