Weil mclain blower motor

I have a weil mclain he ll-4 furnace that would not start this morning because the blower motor was just barely turning. Its 10 years old and I discovered in the manual that it needed to be oiled every season!! Well, its now oiled, turning freely and cycles on and off just like new. My question is...should I replace this motor or am I good to go?

Giving it a try is worthwhile. Sometimes it will be fine, sometimes it wont.

Usually you have to take a fan motor out of the centrifugal fan to oil both sets of bearings, sometimes their are tubes that will direct oil to the hard to get bearing. Did you oil the bearings on both sides of the motor?

there were two tubes. One on the front and one on the rear.

The odds are, oh, 50/50 that the motor will be OK.

Are you feeling LUCKY today?
