Ruud Achiever 90 Plus
I recently purchased a 4 year old townhouse with a Rudd Achiever 90 plus. The furnace is on the first floor/main entry level. I have searched through other threads but I haven't been able to find an answer.
The issue that I am having is that the burners will not stay lit. The furnace will kick on, the burners will light, and then blowout at most in a minuet. The flame sensor LED will stay on while the burners are lit and then go out just before they blowout.
I feel like it isn't drawing in enough air. Everything runs perfectly when the furnace door is open. Which unfortunately is how the inspector inspected the system. The furnace also has two holes on the side with plastic cover pieces. We took the larger cover piece off and the system is still working. The burners fire up and stay on until it reaches the temp on the thermostat. This is making thing even more it has something to do with not getting enough air. Has anyone had this problem and found a fix for it?

pipes
does it have 2 pipes pvc going to and from the furnace?
you need to follow them and see which one is the intake pipe. the intake pipe could be blocked at the pipe or if no screen on pipe, inside a little ways...
