I live in Florida and had a new kenmore 5000 air to air heating unit installed within the past 2 years. The temp dropped down into the 30's last night and this morning the coils on the outside portion of the unit were covered in frost. Is this something I need to worry about since the forcast for tonight is for temps in the 20's ?

You have a heat pump and it is normal for them to frost up at outdoor temps. below or near freezing. You may even see it blow off steam when it goes into defrost. If it does not get ride of the frost, then you have a problem.
